Your photos

HOW MANY IMAGES WILL WE RECEIVE?

I want you to be able to see those memories. That’s why I don’t tend to have a specific number of photos I deliver – I shoot what I see and I deliver what I shoot. However for a general rule of thumb; If you booked me for a whole day you from Bridal Prep until First Dance then expect around 450+.  

If you have had me for a shorter day work on the ratio of around 40 per hour.

HOW WILL WE RECEIVE THE IMAGES?

On a neat little USB stick with a password protected online gallery that friends and family can download from for free.

HOW LONG AFTER THE WEDDING WILL WE SEE THE PICTURES?

Within 6 weeks of the wedding day you’ll receive a link to your own special highlights slideshow, a USB with the photos on and a password protected online gallery that you can share with your friends and family. If you decide that you would like to add an album we can arrange to meet up or chat over the phone or Skype and work out an album to fit your budget.

WHAT DOES DIGITAL FILE MEAN EXACTLY – CAN WE SHARE AND PRINT THESE IMAGES?

Yes, yes and thrice yes! These images are yours to send to friends, share on social media, print, enlarge and put in frames – which I can help you with if you’d like. The only thing I ask is please don’t modify them, or sell them on.

Your Day

IS TRAVEL INCLUDED?

All travel is included within a 50 mile radius of Sutton Coldfield, or Haverfordwest (if you are looking for a shoot in South Wales) Outside of this there is an additional travel fee of 40p per mile, or train fares covered where appropriate. It is usually more cost effective for me to take the train up North or London for example. I promise that I will never hit you with a ‘surprise’ mileage bill – so if we haven’t discussed it you can assume it’s not happening!

CAN WE HAVE TWO PHOTOGRAPHERS?

Definitely. I have one or two trusted photographers whom I work frequently with to give you multiple angles getting you way more bang for your buck! If you have over 100 guests it’s a good idea and if you’d like some images of the groom getting ready.  You can add a second for £200/250.

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU ARE ILL?

It has never yet happened (touch wood) but the contract covers us both and ensures that if this does happen I provide a suitable and similar alternative if for some reason I cannot attend on the day.

ARE YOU INSURED?

Yes! I’d like to add, ‘of course, isn’t everyone?!’ but I am guessing that not everyone is – hence why this is on the FAQ – sad times!

YOU ARE THE PHOTOGRAPHER FOR US! HOW DO WE BOOK YOU?

Fabulous! Just drop me an email to kate@khollingsworth.co.uk or give me a call (07946 383 085) and we can check the date in my diary and arrange a time to meet up.

HOW DO WE SECURE THE DATE?

When you have sent me the non-refundable booking fee of £300 and signed the contract then your date is all yours! The remainder is not due until 6 weeks before your wedding date.

HOW CAN WE PAY?

You can pay by bank transfer (preferred) or with credit or debit card – drop me a line and I will send you the details.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER WE BOOK YOU?

We can arrange an engagement shoot or correspond over the next few months as many times as you want before the Big Day! In the run up to the wedding I will give you a call to run through the timeline and check I have all of the details including any group shots you may fancy.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

Either we will have already met and so the ball is already set in motion – or I’ll send over a welcome document and we can arrange a time for you to come to my ‘office’ (my current favourite being Quinto in Sutton) for a drink and the chance to get to know each other and decide if you’d like to book me… I can’t wait to meet you!
