Your photos

HOW MANY IMAGES WILL WE RECEIVE?

Depending on the shoot you pick around 250+

Every photo will have a specific purpose and you won’t get anything cheesy!

HOW WILL WE RECEIVE THE IMAGES?

On a neat little USB stick and on a password protected online gallery that you can download from for free and share with whom so ever you wish!

HOW LONG AFTER THE SHOOT WILL WE SEE THE PICTURES?

Within 3 weeks you will have the full set. Usually in a ‘Highlights’ which tend to be my faves and a ‘Full set’

WHAT DOES DIGITAL FILE MEAN EXACTLY – CAN WE SHARE AND PRINT THESE IMAGES?

Yes, yes and thrice yes! These images are yours to send to friends, share on social media, print, enlarge and put in frames.  The only thing I ask is please don’t modify them, or sell them on to stock image libraries!

Planning

IS TRAVEL INCLUDED?

All travel is included within a 50 mile radius of Sutton Coldfield, or Haverfordwest (if you are looking for a shoot in South Wales) Outside of this there is an additional travel fee of 40p per mile, or train fares covered where appropriate. It is usually more cost effective for me to take the train up North or London for example. I promise that I will never hit you with a ‘surprise’ mileage bill – so if we haven’t discussed it you can assume it’s not happening!

CAN WE HAVE VIDEO CONTENT

If you would like some video social media content we can organise my associate Phoebe to come and make some reels. at around £400 for planning before hand a short day of filming then editing on an iphone.

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU ARE ILL?

It has never yet happened (touch wood) but the contract covers us both and ensures that if this does happen I provide a suitable and similar alternative if for some reason I cannot attend on the day.

Or we can rearrange.

ARE YOU INSURED?

Yes! I’d like to add, ‘of course, isn’t everyone?!’ but I am guessing that not everyone is – hence why this is on the FAQ – sad times!

Fabulous! Just drop me an email to kate@khollingsworth.co.uk or give me a call (07946 383 085) and we can check the date in my diary and arrange a time to meet up.

HOW DO WE SECURE A SHOOT?

Let’s have a zoom call to check we ‘click’ then we can work out what kind of shoot you need first off!

When you have sent me the non-refundable booking fee of £300 and signed the contract then the wheels are in motion and we can start planning!  The remainder is not due until just before your shoot.

I can do payment plans though if this is more suitable.

HOW CAN WE PAY?

You can pay by bank transfer (preferred) or with credit or debit card – drop me a line and I will send you the details.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER WE BOOK YOU?

For a brand shoot there is lots of work involved but it get’s us THE best outcomes. I have tried rushing it and I just end up annoyed knowing what we could have achieved!

It starts with a chat on zoom

Then a branding booklet for you to complete all about your values, who your client is, things that they love/hate and content you’d love to make to get them flooding to your door!

Then we have a brainstorming chat where we discuss:

location / colours / vibe / themes / props / clothing

Finally I draw up a shot list and schedule and a 30 day content plan.

I get you to send me any blog ideas you have or have written.

Then we shoot it!

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

Either we will have already met and so the ball is already set in motion – or I’ll send over a welcome document and we can arrange a time for you to come to my ‘office’ (my current favourite being Quinto in Sutton) for a drink and the chance to get to know each other and decide if you’d like to book me… I can’t wait to meet you!

Day of the shoot

I HATE HAVING MY PHOTOGRAPH TAKEN

You are not alone. I’ve yet to meet anyone who ‘loves’ having their photo taken!

I have clever tricks to stop you worrying AND I take a bit longer to get to know you and warm you up to the idea of having your photo taken. By the end of the day, I promise you will have had a brilliant day and really enjoyed the whole experience.

WHAT ON EARTH DO I WEAR?

We can chat about this and I will send you a what to wear guide.

My rule of thumb is to wear something you are comfortable in. The more happy you are the better you will look in your photos. 

Don’t buy anything brand new unless you have worn it or at least tried it on and taken some photos of yourself wearing it on a phone.

WILL WE STOP FOR FOOD?

I tend to fuel before and after unless it’s a long day shoot.

I will make sure you have breaks to keep you going though!

More than likely, we may nip to a cafe and then use this venue for some of our shots.
